Seven years ago, The Skyn Distillery started with a treatment room, a dream and a whole lot of figuring it out as we went.
And somehow… here we are. 🤍
7 years of skin.
7 years of growth.
7 years of you trusting us.
From where we started in 2019 to opening our Wayzata storefront, growing our team, adding new treatments and creating a space that finally feels completely us — every year has brought something new.
2019 - The Skyn Distillery was Born
We shared a single room suite inside Phoenix Salon and carried just Glo Skin Beauty and Santosha Skincare.
2020 THE YEAR OF ENDURANCE
We got through covid, added Face Reality Skincare and Procell Therapies to our Skincare Menu
2021- WE MOVED
We outgrew our space and subleased TWO rooms inside of MK Aesthetics Clinic in Minnetonka. and launched our podcast The Lounge by The Skyn Distillery.
2022- CONTINUED GROWING
We launched a sheet mask, brought in Glymed+ Skincare and purchased the Glo2Facial Device, and Mel got married!
2023-ROOM CHANGE UP
We continued to sublease from MK Aesthetics; but moved down the hall.. focusing more on our skills with facials that were relaxing and results driven
2024- THE BUILD OUT
We finally took the leap of faith and did our own build out creating the Skyn Distillery of today-Â 3 treatment rooms, 2 saunas, and a very tranquil place!
2025- GROWING OUR TEAM
We added Kat to our team, launched the Bridal Membership and Reserve Membership, and brought in the Glacial Skin Device and Radio Frequency from Glo2Facial
2026 - OUR NOW
We've added Renee Rouleau Skincare to our menu, a couple new facial options, did a mini makeover to the sauna area!
But the part we’re most proud of isn’t how much the studio has changed.
It’s how many of you have grown with us.
You’ve trusted us before weddings, during pregnancies, through acne journeys, changing skin, big birthdays and all of the seasons in between.
And as we celebrate seven years, it felt like the right time for the next evolution of something we created for exactly that reason:
