TRAVEL
We flew Sun Country Airlines Direct Flights from Minneapolis to Charleston $280 a ticket which included checked bag and seat. Charleston Airport is super tiny and cute and located only 25 minutes from downtown Charleston- so snagged a quick Uber to our hotel. (Ubers ranged from $25-$35)

We stayed at was The Ryder Hotel - 3 nights Thursday-Sunday $1100
Located central between a lot of the neighborhoods you'll want to explore
Everything was about .5 or 1 mile walk from our hotel room
