#Psl Peel Season ladies/lads
Fall is the perfect time for pumpkin spiced lattes and facial peels! We recommend doing peels during the fall/winter when you aren't directly exposed to the sun as much. Peels work better in a series creating results to minimize hyper-pigmentation, texture, fine lines, wrinkles and past acne scarring.
Will my face peel off from your peels?
NO, At our studio we focus on Superficial Peels, A superficial peel lifts surface cells and reveals a fresher and more radiant skin tone. They focus on minimizing or reducing hyper-pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, texture, and pores. They are great because there is little to no downtime and have minimum side effects.
How often should you get a session of peels?
We recommend doing them every 2 weeks for a series of 3-6 treatments. This will vary on the results you are looking to obtain from the treatments. Ideally, with our superficial peels we recommend a minimum of 4 treatments to see desired results.
What Type of peels do you offer at your studio?
We use Glo Skin Beauty’s Back Bar Peels:
20% Lactic Acid in our Bright Skin Peel (60 mins) or Chemical Peel Facial (30 mins)
20% Lactic Acid or 30% Glycolic Acid in our Firm Skin Peel (60 mins) or Chemical Peel Facial (30 mins)
30% Salicylic Acid in our Chemical Peel Facial or spot treatment in Skin Detox Facial
About Lactic Acid
Lactic Acid Peels contain natural humectants, which moisturize the skin as the acid exfoliates it. The Lactic Acid molecule is larger and is perfect for more sensitive skin and dry skin, as well as first time peel clients. Smooth, hydrate, and brightens improving appearance of fine lines and pigmentation. This is in our Bright Skin Peel.
About Glycolic Acid
Repairs and regenerates skin. A versatile and fast acting acid exfoliant, effectively aids oily, problematic skin. Improves appearance of facial lines, uneven tone and texture. Glycolic Acid has one of the smallest molecules of the Alpha Hydroxy Acid Group, which means skin can absorb it quickly and it can penetrate deeply. Great for all skin types except sensitive or super dry. This is in our Bright and Firm Skin Peel.
About Salicylic Acid
This is a level 3 peel and deeply cleanses pores with antiseptic properties. Treats oily, congested and acne prone skin. Helps Rejuvenate, smooth, and balance the complexion. This is recommended for oily/combination skin concerned with acne and breakouts. This is in our Acne Facial Treatment.
